Emergency Power and Winterization Improvements at Groundwater Wells Site

Location: Intersection of Atumn and Sam Bass roads
Brushy Creek, Texas

Estimated Time Frame: Construction at all three wells is anticipated to begin in 2024 and conclude in 2025. The schedule will be updated once a contractor is selected.

Description: This project includes the installation of a permanent emergency generator to allow for continuous operation during power outages. It will also winterize exposed piping to enable continuous operation during freezing temperatures.

Impact to the Community: Beyond construction noises directly adjacent to the project site, there is no impact to the community. Once complete, this project will improve the reliability of continuous water service during power outages. Construction work for this project is funded by money allocated from the American Rescue Plan Act.
