The District would like to extend a friendly reminder on how to dispose of household hazardous waste properly.

Please do not dump any illicit materials into our storm water drains. Harmful materials will flow into our waterways poisoning fish and other wildlife.

Paint (empty or mostly empty):

If your can is less than 1/4 full, remove the lid and place the can in a well-ventilated area. The paint will dry in a few days. Once dry, the can may be thrown in your trash.
