Emergency Power Installation at Raw Water Intake Site

Location: Lake Georgetown

Estimated Time Frame: Construction is anticipated to begin in 2024 and conclude in 2025. The schedule will be updated once a contractor is selected.

Description: This project includes the installation of a permanent emergency generator to allow for continuous operation during power outages.

Impact to the Community: There is no impact to the community. Once complete, this project will improve the reliability of continuous water service during power outages. Construction work for this project is funded by money allocated from the American Rescue Plan Act.
