Permit and Inspection Fees
PERMIT AND INSPECTION FEES
A permit is required for all alteration, removal or installation of plumbing. No permit shall be issued to any resident, builder, contractor, and/or plumber who owes the District any outstanding fee or charge assessed by the District.
Dependent on the type of permit a series of five inspections (rough-in, service lines, copper, top-out, and final) will be required. Payment for five plumbing inspections is required in advance based on the plumbing permit in effect. An additional plumbing inspection fee will be required for each additional inspection, re-inspection, and any other inspection required to determine compliance with the Uniform Plumbing Code adopted by the Board of Directors.
Residential Plumbing Inspection Fee - $105.00 per inspection
Commercial Plumbing Inspection Fee - $115.00 per inspection
Plumbing Permit Fee - $50.00
Service Commitment Fee - $150.00
Plan Review Fee - $2,250.00 plan review fee, excluding single-family residences. (Includes up to 25 pages of plans. Additional page shall be $90.00 per page).
Parks and Recreation Fee - $1,109.20 per LUE
a) applicable to only new construction.
b) Increases 3% each April (last update April 2024)
Water Connection / Tap Fees - $220.00 per LUE or $2089.00 per LUE for Out of District or the actual cost of the meter and meter box, whichever is greater.
a) Any water tap installation involving excavation of the water main shall be performed by the District at cost.
Wastewater Connection / Tap Fees - $60.00 per LUE
a) Any wastewater tap installation involving excavation of the wastewater main shall be performed by the District at cost.
Water Capital Recovery Fees - $2095.00 per LUE
a) Water service connections that are dedicated fire connections and not used for other purposes will be exempt from payment of the Capital Recovery Fee. Any use of water from such connections for non-fire protection purposes shall require the customer to pay WCR (calculated based on LUE - equivalency table set forth below according to meter size) as a condition of further service to the connection. Nonpayment shall result in physical termination of the fire connection.
Wastewater Capital Recovery Fee - $1804.00 per LUE
Wastewater Line Clean Out Installation - $300.00
Backflow Device Testing Fee - $200.00
a) Failed devices will be replaced or repaired at cost. Charges will be added to the account.

System and Drainage Facility Inspection Fee - (Applicable to facilities to be conveyed by the District.)
The developer shall be responsible for payment in an amount equal to three (3) percent of the construction cost of the facilities based on the contract price
provided in the bid, paid in equal monthly payments based on the contract time, with payments automatically accelerated and due in full if unpaid prior to the
request for approval of such facilities. Facilities will not be accepted for operation until the fee is paid in full.
