OPEN HOUSE FOR HAIRY MAN ROAD/BRUSHY CREEK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS

Williamson County is hosting an Open House regarding a traffic study being conducted on Hairy Man Road/Brushy Creek Road from Arrowhead Trail to Sam Bass Road, a distance of 3.77 miles. The Open House will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Brushy Creek Community Center, 16318 Great Oaks Drive, Round Rock, TX 78681. The study includes conducting traffic operational analysis and public involvement to identify potential projects that would improve traffic flow and safety within the study area. Hairy Man Road/Brushy Creek Road is currently a four-lane divided facility to the west of Arrowhead Trail and a two-lane undivided facility east of Arrowhead Trail.

The purpose of the Open House is to allow residents the opportunity to identify issues along Hairy Man Road/Brushy Creek Road and recommend potential solutions to these issues. The Open House is a come-and-go event with no formal presentations. Participants are encouraged to attend and review the exhibits on display and submit comments. Project staff will be available to answer questions.

Written comments may be submitted during the open house, or by mail to Connie Watson, Public Information Office, 710 S. Main Street, Georgetown, TX 78626. You can also email them to cwatson@wilco.org. All comments received at the Open House, as well as written comments received by January 15, 2015, will be considered during the development of future projects to address any issues identified. If you have any questions, please contact Connie Watson at 512-943-1663.
