District Receives Award
The office of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts recognized the District for setting the bar for financial transparency and opening books to the public. The District has earned a Platinum Leadership Circle Award for providing citizens with a clear, consistent picture of spending and sharing information in a user-friendly format. Platinum is the highest level attainable. The District is setting a strong example for other governmental entities to follow. Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District has been a member of the Leadership Circle since 2010.
