At its regularly scheduled meeting on September 25, 2009, the Board of Directors of the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District swore in a new Director, Mr. Jeffery D. Goldstein to replace outgoing Director Paul Tisch.

Jeffrey was born in Rochester, New York and lived in Minnesota and Arizona before moving to Texas in 2004.  Jeffrey, his wife Leigh and daughter Sarah have lived in the Sendero Springs Subdivision in Brushy Creek MUD since October 2005.  Jeffrey received his Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul Minnesota and has worked as a paralegal for 25 years in various fields of law.  Jeffrey is currently working in the water practice group engaged in water and wastewater licensing and enforcement issues with Lloyd Gosselink Rochelle & Townsend in Austin.  Jeffrey has served on the District’s Water & Wastewater Committee for two years, the last year as the chairman of the Committee.
