Public Hearing on Designation of Salamander Species as Endangered

The US Fish and Wildlife will host a public hearing tomorrow, September 5, 2012, to hear comments regarding potential designation of certain salamander species as endangered under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).  Public comment will be received on the proposed listing rule and designation of critical habitat in Bell, Travis, and Williamson Counties.

Informational meeting - 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Public Hearing - 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

If you plan to speak, please have your comments prepared prior to the meeting as the time for comments will be limited to 2-3 minutes.
