Dear Brushy Creek MUD residents,
A project to repair sections of wastewater line in the District’s Liberty Walk Greenbelt and Disc Golf Course area commenced on Wednesday, November 19.
This project is in the construction phase, and work involves relining existing wastewater mains and manholes. Because of the location of the work being done, and for the safety of our residents and construction crews, the District closed the Disc Golf Course starting on Nov. 19. The closure is expected to last until the project is complete, which is planned to be in early January, weather permitting.
Residents living adjacent to the greenbelt can expect work to take place during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. We do not anticipate having to close the trails along the greenbelt, nor do we expect excessive noise issues.
While the infrastructure work and course closure are underway, District staff will also take the opportunity to make improvements to the disc golf course.
We will update this page as events warrant, and we thank you for your patience as we work to maintain District infrastructure and improve our parks facilities.
