Dear Brushy Creek residents,
We want to share this this message from BCMUD trash and recycling service provider Texas Disposal Systems (TDS) regarding their operations during inclement weather. We will update our residents as events warrant.:
"As always, safety will be our primary consideration as we evaluate conditions and plan operations. We will be actively monitoring road conditions as the situation develops. These evaluations will be location specific, so it may be that certain areas are less impacted than others. If conditions are such that we determine that it won’t be safe to operate, then we will delay routes and continue to evaluate conditions to determine if they improve enough to resume normal operations.
In the scenario where conditions improve as the day progresses, we may start routes later than normal. If conditions do not improve to the point where we believe it is safe to operate, then we will push routes to the following day similar to how we’ve handled our holiday schedules.
Stay warm!"
Additionally, we want to remind you that Waste Wizard, the free app from TDS, is available to download. The app helps residents organize their waste removal schedules and provides up-to-date information on holiday and inclement weather operations.
