Mosquito Preparation & Defense  

Mosquitos are out in full force this time of year.

The District wants you to have proper defense and preparation against these pesky insects that can spread viruses and disease.

Practice the 3 D's:

• Drain- standing water in flower pots, pet dishes, or clogged gutters so mosquitoes don't have a place to breed. Treat water that can't be drained 
• Defend- by using an EPA-approved insect repellent 
• Dress- in long sleeves and pants when outdoors
