Sendero Springs Pool - Update - 3/3/21

Dear Brushy Creek Community:

Plumbing efforts to repair the broken pipe for the showers at Sendero Springs Pool continue diligently.  We are hopeful that the repairs will be completed within the next few weeks. Until the repairs are made, the pool must remain closed in accordance with the Texas Administrative Code section which requires that cleansing showers be made available to the public.

In an effort to reopen the pool for public swim, we reached out to the supervisor for the Sanitation Team of the Williamson County and Cities Health District to request public use of the pool while we wait for repairs. Our request was denied.

While the repairs are being made, you may notice that the Sailfish Swim Team will be using the pool for their contracted team practice. Please allow us to explain. The USA Swimming Covid-19 guidelines tells swimmers NOT to use showers before practices. Given these guidelines, the County has advised that the swim team may use the pool for team practice.

This was an unprecedented storm that we all experienced.  We will notify you immediately when the pool is available for public use.  Please know that our entire team is working hard for “The Brushy Creek Life”!
