10/15/2020 - County Traffic Signals Project

Location:  O’Connor Drive at Morgan Hill Trail, Great Oaks Drive, and Liberty Walk

Description:  Addition of traffic and pedestrian signals at O’Connor Drive at Morgan Hill Trail, O’Connor Drive at Great Oaks Drive, and O’Connor Drive at Liberty Walk.

Status:  Construction by the County began in June 2020. The project is behind schedule due to unanticipated utility conflicts, which have substantially slowed down the conduit installations.  The County anticipates that the underground conduit installation at Morgan Hill Trail will be complete around the end of the year, and the installation of poles and signal heads at the three intersections will be complete in early 2021.  View project FAQs

Traffic Control
Williamson County’s contractor, Champion Infrastructure, will continue with various daytime closures of the westbound and eastbound lanes of O’Connor Drive at Morgan Hill Trail from Monday, January 18 to Friday, January 22. Lane closures will occur daily between the hours of 8AM to 5PM, weather permitting. The contractor will be installing conduits and replacing sidewalk at the intersection. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Minimal impact to traffic is anticipated.
