3/25/2024 - April 2: Texas Watershed Steward Workshop

The Texas Watershed Steward program will host a free, educational workshop Tuesday, April 2, 1-5 p.m. at Round Rock Utilities, 3400 Sunrise Road, Round Rock.*

The program helps watershed residents improve and protect their water resources by getting involved in local watershed protection and management activities.

The event will be presented by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board in cooperation with the Texas Water Resources Institute.

Specifically, the April 2 workshop will provide an overview of water quality and watershed management in Texas and include a discussion on the Brushy Creek watershed. It will also include efforts from the Texas Water Resources Institute, as well as best management practices local stakeholders may use to help improve and protect their water quality.

Attendees from a wide variety of professional disciplines may take advantage of free continuing education credits (CEUs) through this workshop.
