Inclement weather guidelines 

Weather conditions are the responsibility of Brushy Creek M.U.D. to make patrons aware of potential dangers posed by forecasted weather conditions. If the weather conditions warrant communications, they will be sent out by Aquatics Team through the District's website, constant contact, and social media. The following will be taken into consideration to monitor potential concerns for pool usage;

1. Lightning Detection - If lightening is detected 10 or less miles away the pool will be closed for 30 minutes. 
2. Visibility  - If it is raining hard enough to prevent staff from seeing the pool bottom and drains.
3. Cold Weather - If the air temperature is below 40 degrees.

In ALL cases, Brushy Creek M.U.D. will keep the safety of patrons as its highest priority. 

Since Cat Hollow, Creekside, and Highland Horizon pools close during the fall and winter seasons, this policy typically only affects Sendero Springs Pool.
