Tumeric Cake (Sfouf)

It's time for . . . Cooking with Lina! 🥣


Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon Tumeric powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup pine nuts

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl
  • Add liquid ingredients
  • Whisk it all together for a couple minutes
  • Transfer to a baking tray
  • Add pine nuts and let it rest for 10 minutes
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when stuck in the middle
