March - Community Outreach Project

This month our sewing group is going to participate in a community service project! We will be sewing quilt blocks for the Linus Connection. This non-profit organization makes and delivers handmade security blankets for children in crisis situations in our area. The blankets go to children in hospital emergency rooms, crisis centers, foster care, and battered women's shelters. All quilt blocks will be provided by the Main Street Quilt Guild. The finished quilt tops will be delivered to the Main Street Quilt Guild who will finish the quilts off and deliver them to the Linus Project.
